One of Joshuas Lego Mindstorm robots

What's new?

Hi Everyone

long time no post as they say. It seems that life keeps getting in the way of updating our blog. All is good here, is super cold but hey that's life in Christchurch. We haven't had any snow yet this winter, maybe we won't.

Recently Saskia and I went over to Melbourne to baby Isaacs 1st birthday party. What a little cherub he is :)

Saskia and Ari are the best of mates and of course it was very sad to have to say goodbye.

It was fantastic to see quite a few relatives in our 5 days there. Aunty E, Marg, Andrew and their gorgeous children. On the last day we were booked to go up to Matt and Caths but it was snowing. We did however see heaps of photos of their new house which is looking beautiful.

We are busy here as usual. The weekends are filled with working on a couple of wind turbines in our backyard. It is too cold for much in the way of bike riding or exploring but maybe soon.

Saskia is set to start at Nova next term, the building is under way and should be finished by the start of 4th term.
Josh is racing ahead with his school work, his latest report shows he is reading at a 13 year olds level, his maths is outstanding and overall he is doing extremely well.

Here is the link to the kids school http://www.novamontessori.school.nz/home.htm

Josh started a science program this term and goes every second Tuesday, he has a real leaning towards technolog, maths and science.
The program is at Science Alive which is like Science Works in Melbourne.

I am busy with making my block mounts ~ http://www.diyblockmounts.com/

Will post some pics of Joshuas Lego Mindstorm creations shortly.

Love to all, hope you are all happy, healthy and keeping warm :)
